Drs. Kirkels completed her medical studies at the University of Amsterdam (AMC/UvA) in 2018.

During her studies she gained experience in plastic surgery at the Red Cross Hospital in Beverwijk and was given the opportunity to participate in various studies at the Laboratory of Bioregenerative Medicine & Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. By participating in these two departments, she was able to deepen herself in the field of plastic surgery and thus developed a strong passion for this specialism. In addition to her experiences in the Netherlands and America, she has worked on various medical projects in Uganda and South Africa.

After completing her medical studies, drs. Kirkels gained experience as ANIOS in General Surgery at BovenIJ Hospital. Besides plastic surgery, her interest is also in injectables (botox and fillers).
